Utah Evos
Talk to Christian about tuning before you decide on a UTEC. He tuned mine as a favor and to see what he could do on the UTEC. I am not sure if he would do it for everyone.
Also the UTEC does need software. As long as the computer has hyperterminal you can tune the UTEC with it. If you don't have one a christian doesn't I might be able to let you use mine.
If you have questions on the UTEC i am the geek with it so I can try to help you.

UTEC = 1980's DOS technology. Any out of date computer has Hyper[ghetto]terminal. But for $500 it may solve your problem. Maybe. Ben can tell you the limitations.
Scott called today. He told me he is ready for some serious turbo/motor upgrades. Watch out Seth. Scott's car may be known nationally as "the white AMS evo from Utah killing everything on the street..." Kinda like the black Evo from Florida. Got GT42.

haha jared as soon as the new update for my Atari comes out there will not me many limitations.
You COULD effectively tune your car with a UTEC but most guys with a big turbo find it easier to use a AEM
hyperterminal is used because it is simple and easy to work with. Any laptop with a serial or USB port can support it. Som people are not into flashy interfaces and cool grafics and would rather not have there system on freeze on them or have to cntrl+alt+del all the time
Hyper terminal does not reduce the ability to tune it just doesn't look good. If I was going for looks I would have bought a supra :P
