Track experience is not required. Racerfactory is a great group to start with. Rich runs excellent events with good instruction, run groups separated based on experience with corner workers that enforce the rules.

I expect the Cobb Tuning event will be a bit less organized with people of differing experience levels on track at the same time.

There is a Racerfactory event at Spring Mountain (Pahrump, NV) in Apr. Full weekend there is about $100+ cheaper for track time. It's a fun track ... and I enjoy the drive down and back.

racerfactory.com has all the details. I'd stay away from redline, traquest, hooked on driving and some of the others. Two best IMO are racerfactory and speedventures.

I mailed the ECU to AL to have a Custom Base-Flash done and when comes out he will do the 2 hour custom tune!! Cost me $300 to upgrade from a mail-in to the custom. It should be worth it cause I plan to do many more mods that will require re-flashes and with the Custom you get free reflashes for as long as you own the car!!
