I ran a 255 RA-1 on my 17X9 wheels with no rubbing anywhere, I would think a 255 18 would not be an issue either.

Any way, just curious where to meet some other evo enthusiasts at.

I am new to the SLC area, only lived here for about 2 months, and we all know how our weather has been, so havent been out to much. Would be cool to meet up with some of you guys and hang.

Thanks again, and I look forward to meeting some of you.
Welcome Man. I am Dallin I am down south of most of you guys in Orem/Provo area A.K.A. Happy Valley

And yeah anyone can take a look at it. so far all i know is the car has:

GT30R turbo.
HKS intercooler
HKS intake
HKS booster timer
I was told FP makes the turbo kit
Tien lowering springs
Body kit
Shift kit
ACT clutch
I dont know about cams, injectors, fuel pump.
Tial blow off.
Turbo back exhaust the dealer RUINED by cutting and putting cat.

SO i really have no idea what this car is capable of..
I would say a good safe DD tune will put you around low 400's on pump if you go with Meth or the E85 rout then 450-480 range Wouldn't want to go for more than that with out a built motor.

I would say with cams and Supporting fuel mods and a tune then yes it can be done

NTO1's are pretty wide street tires. I would go with 255 and def not do anything wider on a 8.5" wide wheel. The NTO1 are good but not the best for wet. But awesome in the Dry and Track

Go 255

maybe if you went 255/35 you might not have to cut/roll rears?

Dallin what you think?

I cant believe I'm up this early I Win
255 all the way with a 8.5" wide wheel. I would still go 255 with a 9' wide wheel too. Do you have any pics of your EvoDave Fender mod kit done? I was thinking of making that kit my self too for the new project car
Oh and I would just Cut and Roll the Fenders to not have to worry about any rubbing at all

whats the front fender mod you & booster are talking about Dallin?? I wouldn't think on a 255 you'd have to anything to the fronts...just the damn plastic rubbing lol my 245 rubs up front when turning...for now 245 is cool for me and well I don't wanna buy tires or rims

I think it's the mod that pushes the back of the fender out a bit. Leaves a gap there that looks like a vent. I dunno.

There's a reason I wasn't on here for the past two days... I had plenty of free alcohol I saw two Evos last night out and about, also saw a blue '08+ STi... and I saw a X recently too on 13th take a super hard left into a neighborhood, GG. And I'm pretty sure there was a GG X in front of me on 3300 S on Friday night.

Ah, that makes sense then. Jack-in-the-box was like that for us when we stopped there in St. George once, really good, until we finished eating

We need to do a cruise on UT-189 and US-40 through Provo Canyon and Heber before all the snow melts. I drove it again yesterday and it's simply breathtaking this time of year.

IMHO the best scenic drive within 2000 miles.
