Good question, I wish I had a 5 speed just for the 1/4 mile. maybe someday I will get one, or just get a crazy built 6 speed which I think I would like better.

Halp!

Yo guys, I'm trying to install my sub in the trunk ('06 IXMR) and I've been searching for hours through all the posts in the HowTo's and the audio forum and hell even google and I can't find anything about running the power wire from the battery (in stock location under the hood) to the trunk. So I figured I'd ask my local statesmen I remember reading somewhere that you have to actually cut a hole out of the firewall and run it through that way? Is that truly the only way? My 9500 10" requires a 0gauge wire so it's pretty thick. Also, if you do know of a thread with any info on the subject then by all means link away!

My FWD drag talon ran 10.009 here, and at California Speedway I ran 9.810 in 2004.

Where Do you live? Maybe someone could help you out? I had my Power wire ran under the fender, through a hole in the fire wall and under the side plastic panel inside the car all the way to the back. I think you would have to take the Fender off to do it or the Plastic fender wells to do it. I dont have the plastic in there so I could get to it from there.

Well I live in BFE Price now lol Was the hole in your fire wall already there? Or did you have to drill it? Kind of a lot of work to pop the wheel off, take the plastic well out and do it that way, but I think that would be better than drilling a hole maybe? Hmm! This is a lot tougher than my old Jeep haha

I just went quick and wasnt worried about show quality. I ran the wire straight back from the battery, fed it down into the fender at the base of the windshield, then straight into the trim on the inside of the door. It was only quick and temporary as I wasnt keeping the car too much longer. Door closed tine, but it was kinda ghetto. I only had it like that for 2 months.
