yeah water/meth majority of it is meth... will take picture of my dyno sheet and upload it when I get home... anyone know what a bone-stock IX puts down on their dyno? Some people have told me my numbers are good and others thought I should be making more power, so just trying to figure out if my numbers are where they should be...

true, although I already know a dynojet would read considerably higher... wondering how Cobb's mustang compares to other mustangs

hmmm... that makes me think I should be higher than where I'm at considering everything on my car

Let me clarify to make you feel a bit better, it was COBB's dyno before they moved it, I think that one is the one out at Miller now. They are both Mustangs though, and I assume they set them up the same. If they still have the same computer systems they should somewhere have my maps even

And anyway, this is why you always do before and after dynos! I know I gained 70 whp over stock, no matter the dyno. It costs ya, but it gives you a piece of mind. Stock, fyi, my car was around 207 whp same dyno, same settings, roughly the same conditions. Shortly after that I did the TBE with no tune, the boost control solenoid went crazy (probably because we didn't have cool software like EcuFlash) and I was only boosting 10-13psi with no taper in all gears, no boost leak or any other problems. Al couldn't get it to go back up to 20 (go figure), so I bought a manual boost controller from him.

However, I got dyno'd after the exhaust, before the problem was fixed (it's actually how I found out the problem) and still did a 207. If you go with the calculation that people had told me back then (about 5-7 whp/psi) that would put me right around 240 pre tune if the boost was running right. Dunno if that estimate of whp/psi is right though.

Hmmm... interesting. 207 sounds low for stock! Judging from that I do feel a bit better I would have liked to have gotten a baseline with my setup before the BBK/Meth went on but didnt have time or money. After those two things went on I had to stay out of boost driving it there so it was too late once I showed up for my tune with those parts on. I didnt even think about them having more than 1 dyno in town, makes me wonder if there is any variation from one to the other... from I have read some mustangs read loer than others

I honestly thought I could hit 400 on Cobb's mustang dyno. AFR was 12.3, they couldnt lean it out anymore without getting knock and it seemed like 28.5 psi was where it wanted to stay...
What kind of fuel?

I saw the white wingless Evo with chrome wheels, and stretched 225 tires at Sears tonight. Also passed you on the bagerter around 7800 and honked in the white ford pickup. Car looks great and I love the wheel tire setup. I still think I want to run 255 tires though, How are 255 wide tires on stock rims, I mean 255 40 17, Rub?? I would hate them to rub at all, would drive me crazy. I am stock shocks also so riding tall.

Other note, had a little problem starting the evo last night, dang warm starts are killing me, if its sat for around 6 hours or more like 8 its great, but anything around like 2 or so and its a pain, not the instant start. Have to give it a little fuel with the pedal to get it to go. Last night it started but sounded like it was knocking or something, turned it off worried and then back on and it seemed fine, still knocked a little (sound wise) computer showed nothing at all no knock no nothing special, I go no where with out my computer now days. The wierd thing I noticed was that the car was extra rich with fuel. more than normal, most of the time idle is around 14.7 or so and now it was like 12.7, babied it the 2 blocks home and it was still rich just no knocking noise from under the hood. So who knows, ANY IDEAS?? taking the valve cover off to check to make sure all it tight and good, was going to do it this weekend, well earlier is not bad. Doing that right now. I am starting to get a little sick of this on going project. too bad I love the car and its so expensive or I would just shoot it sometimes. I know it has to be in the tune. unless something else is crazy. So that's what I need to do it work on the tune and double check all else I can. Well that's my news not all good but it could be worse. Other than that sure was a nice day. too bad just had to work it all.
