I just inspected an H1 with a carbon fiber dash rolling 39in TSL's

 

Just once when I put the screensaver on the computer freaked out, the screen went all staticy, and then it made a super loud non-volume controllable noise.

I wouldn't care about the drive if I hadn't had a laptop with the same make and model but a drive that was silent... It's ridiculous what is considered "within specs"

Don't mind the top layer, it was just to get the lettering aligned vertically.

Thats crazy, I've never experienced such maniac screensavers before haha. My cd drive drives me nuts, what apple tech passed that to make it to production is beyond me. I had no idea there was a "quieter" model I just deal with mine, as long as it gets the job done.

 

If yours is a new aluminum MacBook, there is quieter.

it's just CBRD's turbo build. I watched the videos on youtube and researched em out, even thought about getting one but I don't think they can make as much power as a green? Of course they will not make as much power as the nasty *** red

Well, one of mine is grayish, the other one is black. It's annoying! So I need a new set, it bugs me bad.

 

Okay, I got Juan's design up in a file ready to be cut. Does everyone like this design? Not exactly the colors, but just the sticker design.

Most likely I will make a bunch of same colored ones, like white UTAH and EVOS in black with red outline.
