Ah the Vista haters. Love em. I could've guessed monster-truck Ryan would hate it Haha.

First thing's first John, chances are... Ryan is right. Did you make sure from the manufacturer that the device works with Vista?

Did you check that the driver you installed was the one for the version of Vista you are using, and not for XP or like 64 bit Vista?

Before even installing the driver did you try getting Vista to just detect and install the device?

Do you know that Microsoft is going to offer HUGE discounts on Win 7 for people who already have Vista It's coming soon, and it fixes all the problems Vista had (IMO).

Or, go one step further from what Ryan said, take PC > sell it on ebay > buy MacBook > rule the world. Yeah my MacBook has had a few problems, and the cd drive is a bit loud (only noticed it because my old MacBook was quiet, but it is a different manufacturer in this one... that's what I get for getting a warranty laptop replacement...). But it does fix it's problems much better than MS OSes. The only problem it has really had is indeed OS related, but one that they are fixing... Sometimes the laptop screen won't come back on when coming out of sleep, and you have to force it to shutdown and reboot it... The good news is that Leopard OS saves all your information/etc when you do that, and brings you right back up to where you were when you powered it down Let's see Windows do that!

IMHO, Vista was Microsoft's attempt to fix something that wasnt broke. XP was getting old, but was user friendly, so to maintain revenue, they released Vista, but lost alot of the friendliness that XP had to offer. I also HATE the new version of MS Office.

Come down to SuperSonic and have Booster's place wash the car! Yay! Unless you're doing it yourself by hand... I may do that today... Car needs a wash badly after the weather and install of tint/overlays... The guy at Mark Miller that I bought my car from said they'd give me free car washes... so maybe I"ll have them wash it real fast... I dunno.

I might come too, depends on what I have going on Friday night (so the chances are fairly slim... Parties > RMR).

Called the manufacturer and asked them about it yet? I had to do that with my wireless adapter from Belkin.

Yes I despise Vista. And what is wrong with a truck that lets you drive over someone that pulls out in front of you? I guarantee if Eric would have been driving that, his accident would have gone MUCH different And mud is fun to play in too
