Yeah, actually, tons and tons of auto-x and one pro solo. That year my dad was the winner of the .500 100 dollar thing that they do. But yes, I see your point, still, tires come and go, but suspension is much longer lasting... Before I went up to R-compounds I would do all the necessary suspension mods to make the car handle how I wanted to.

Like I said though, it's been about 4 years (not counting that one I went to a few weeks ago). Tires would do you more good than suspension, but taking off the power mods and putting yourself in a class where your car can be competitive would do you even more It's super hard to be competitive in SM.

But both tires and suspension is what you should do anyway, and you should do suspension first.

I need to look at the Riddick game sometime, I hear it's supposed to be cool. And I might come to RMR... Maybe.

 

yea when i say slicks that means R compounds those are "slicks" in the turning world. I know i need both but at this point my tires are a weaker spot than my suspension

im trying to find coilovers right now but i cant decide what i want thats in my price range. to sum it up i got my trashed kicked at this even due to my tires but it was a blast!

 

How long have you been in the "turning" world? Slicks are not R compounds. I had R comps for most of my racing time in the Evo, at the very end, I got slicks. The slicks shaved another good chunk of time off... mmm loved those tires.

R comps are DOT legal. Usually they get hot quicker than slicks, sometimes have a bit of tread, and they tend not to be able to take nearly as much abuse.

Toyo RA-1s, R888s, Kumho V710s, etc, those are all R compounds. Typically they also come in normal tires sizes, 245/40/18, 275/35/18, etc.

Slicks on the other hand are the tires used in nascar, Le Mans, Porsche Cup racing, etc. They do not have any tread at all (not even circumferential grooves), take about a lap or two to get hot enough to be sticky (they are very solid otherwise) and are very very dangerous to drive in any sort of rainy condition. They are not DOT legal. And they will easily make an Evo VIII with JICs, TBE, and tune be able to keep up with a factory Carrera GT.

People often call treadless or nearly treadless r-compounds slicks. And technically all r-comps are slicks, but not all slicks are r-comps. And in conversation slicks usually is talking about non-r-compound tires. But I'm pretty sure since DOT tires are required for auto-x that to you, slicks are just r-compounds, and you never even think of the higher grade stuff.

So far I've only been playing the remastered escape from riddick I'll finish this before the playing the new riddick. It's pretty sick I always heard about the 04' game but never played it...so it's cool to be playing the upgraded version now

**** yeah! San Anton has some FINE latinas, Austin, well Austin is just insane and it has a nude beach just to the east of it. Dallas, Houston, Padre, Port Aransas, the list goes on. Texas *****es FTMFW!!!!

Go to 6th St in Austin, it is one big college party with TONS of bars and people drinking on the streets.

In San Antonio, go to Cowboys on a Friday or Saturday night as long as there is nothing big going on in town and you will find all kinds of hotties wearing skirts and cowboy boots. If there is a hot blonde, real thin, about 5'7'', with a C cup working the door (cant think of her name off the top of my head) it might be the one I was with for awhile. There is also a a brunette with abs to die for, a nice B, about 5'9'' and was a bartender....if she is still there, she is hard to get with, but it can be done and is VERY rewarding and she is a freek (A2M) They do play hip-hop too and there is a very diverse crowd and will fit in fine without cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Also, chicks get up on the bar and dance there too. It is just west of the I-10/I-435 interchange. Also has 2 floors, and 6 bars? Def a must see no matter your taste in music. The women are worth it. Just make sure there isnt something big going on in town.

15 minutes west of Cowboys(cant remember the street or the name of the club other than it started with an A back in 07) there is a hip-hop club that is kinda nice. I think its an exit with a hospital and to the north of 435 a couple miles. Some drama there though

Downtown SA at the Riverwalk, there is an AWESOME Hooters, and also Coyote Ugly...two must see's

I was down there for the fiesta2 years ago. Mad fine latina *****es down there and you didnt have to look very hard. Panties droppin all over the place when I was there. Early evening there are a bunch of families, but later it gets bumpin

I saw the kart miss and Intrepid and turn for the Evo when I was walking out the door. ****ing dropped everything and took off at a dead sprint and stopped it a few inches short of the rear bumper. Talked to the guy for a few minutes when he came out. I thought it was one of the guys Juan brought with him to Jason's shop, but it wasnt.
