No actually I'm at 54k right now but I just want to get this out of the way asap. Still a lot for an 06.....I know I bought it in May with just under 40k and as you can see, I drive this car A LOT as should everyone else.

His thread says he has the gates kit for the IX just isn't listed. Is it the same price as the VIII gates kit, 489?
Yeah, I think so. 360-352-8558 call him to be sure

Upgrade to Vista, then Win 7 will be cheaper Very strong rumors suggest that MS is going to hurt people who still have XP when 7 comes out. They're already hurting people who want XP that are buying new computers by making XP an "upgrade."

Plus, unless you only have 1gb of memory, Vista works fine, ya big baby.

yea being ill see the drag strip maybe another 2 times i should be ok. Evil eagle has this clutch in his car, has over 600 WOT logs, on it making 400+ and is running 10 second passes. i think i should be ok

I know people hate SPEC but I've run them always in the Galant and they're fine if you know how to install a clutch. I think there's a correlation with clueless people wanting cheaper stuff and coincidentally screwing up the install of the cheaper SPEC clutches... just a hunch

But I have a SPEC Stage 3+ that holds 700+ crank lb-ft of torque very well. The Stage 3 was sufficient for about 600 crank lb-ft

I'll prrrrrobably get a SPEC for the Evo too just to save some money. I've always had good experiences.

This is a Stage 3+

And my old flywheel insert surface:

If I had the money to spend or if someone wanted to trade I would run an AEM setup right away. I know the Stock ECU has so much going for it, but still AEM has been making more power than the stock ecu and I dont think they have any problems with it as a drivers car still. But thats me I know you love the stock ECU and I do also for now, but I feel I would love AEM more, but I have not been there and done that yet so my feelings don't mean all that much. I just want to get all the fittings I need for my oil line and get back to driving my car and working on some stuff with the fuel.

Curious, why do you want to switch when the stock ecu will do so much..it's more powerful, faster & offers better drivability.

Well I got rid of my AEM to tryout stock Ecu I just don't think the AEM was or is good for what I want So Will see how I like the Stock ECU that is if I can ever get my car to start Its so f**ked up right now its not funny No Idea what the hell is wrong with it but the check engine light is on and I get just about every sensor as a fail or something wrong with it Something is seriously wrong and Now I think I am just going to drop it off at the Dealer and let them figure it out.

Something with your ECU itself or what? I can take a look if you want.

Are you installing an ecu from a different year, or did someone sell you one that is fried?
