Joe checked my intercooler piping and found huge leaks, so when i got it home i went through and think i fixed them all i check for leaks by spraying soapy water on all the fittings and i cant see any bubbles. He said something to the effect that the mis fire or what ever it is is do to different readings at the two MAF sensors.
So what are the different characteristics between a boost leak and a mis fire?
I will be checking the plugs tonight, what am I looking for?

I had the plugs gapped to .032, .031, .027, .024! That goes up on my wall of shame along with taking out the honeycomb thing in the MAF!

I think Riley beats that but I dunno how old he was, regardless, its great that we're not snotty brat kids... Well... most of the time we aren't

and ill go to the redline I would love to get my car out on miller sometime, but I gotta fix my clutch and dan & steve going to help me figured it all out. **** I can throw it in reverse start the car and it starts moving

I spent a couple hundred when I came down last weekend and didn't see you at the straight track I'm not coming down now it's best if I save money to fix the evo dd it sucks with the clutch right now He is, and if he thinks he isn't I'm tracking his *** down and throwing him in the poorsha.

Are you plugs wet looking? Are they gapped around .025-ish? Do they look old? Nothing wrong with putting in new plugs, just don't let the turds at Auto-Zone sell you hotter plugs if you buy new ones. I had problems with my car mis firing and running irratic at high boost under heaveyeyey load, turns out it was too hot of plugs gapped by a dumb-*** person who had been drinkin while tinkering with things.(me) I had the plugs gapped to .032, .031, .027, .024!

I went to colder plug cuz of methonal and not going to put em in my ride
I met Nils at Spring Mountain one time, cool guy. I was faster
j/p I dunno who was faster, but I know his car was no where near as crazy as it is now.
