As I was told when I had them it is so that when racing you can quickly and easily both check pressure and fill the tire... or not have to struggle to position the gauge to read.
Also, it's just bad ***.

Oh and PS, thanks for the input, I called Utah DMV and asked (also found the place on the form that says) and they center it if it is fewer than 7 characters. I've got the form filled out to take in tomorrow. URABUS here I come!!!

I blew the original motor about 6 months ago stock 9 block. Hence the new 8 block i am running now the Fully built 2.3L, Dont know why the old block went but I broke a rod and such, I think I pushed it too hard one night racing with way to much boost and speed and all that. Found a built block for great price and got it then did the conversion.
And to say again I am running a 8 block with a 9 head just drilled the block for the mivec, same motor everyone saw at the meet a while ago and what.

and it's the ix block you can't use with a 8 head cuz my friend had a ix block when my motor went so that was me having things bass akwards

Did you replace the end links? They look beefy on the Evo X but I dunno about previous ones. A broken end link will make a racket.

BTW guys 11 people are going to be at this meet Friday. Might be worth showing up to if you know any of the Nissan crew. They're all cool, trust me on that.

I wish I had all my stuff so I could get on this selling of wheels to hook you guys up But I have no idea why its taking like over 2 months for my friend and I to get are business stuff back 
I am going to call and find out about that tomorrow actually my opinion 
but hey if you like em...and I don't think either are that "light" in weight

Stock suspension? My 03 made all sorts of noises left and right, including plenty of suspension clunks, both on stock and non-stock suspension. I think there was a thread about clunking... dunno how buried it is now, I can try and find it for you if you want, I may still be subscribed. No one really had the same issue, at least not in numbers big enough to say yours is definitely the same (not like the TC failure threads when they first started). I'm pretty sure mine was the same as some other guy's who had metal on metal rubbing when he'd get the suspension at just the right angle and compression, I think he wound up putting some rubber there or something.
