And yeah Kevin, the older ones were a bit slower than the new turbo ones... But a pulley upgrade apparently is only 200 bucks, and yields about 20 hp/20 tq...

midnights are from like 11-2am. There is no reason to be there before 9 IMO

 

That kind of sucks...be there around 7, runs start at 11. So you have to sit on your *** & wait to make a couple of passes.

 

I lose less than 4 hours of sleep I hope its not to cold tonight...

 

where are you guys seeing that the gates open at 4? rmr will be open most the day for the other races street legal series #2

 

Dallin, I tried taking them from slightly different angles, and without the flash, and outside and in the garage, and close and farther away so you could get a clear view of what the sticker looks like. You shoulda seen how many I took on the camera.

And yeah, the Turbo ones are cooler, but some of the way the interior is set up on those, plus the fact that a 100 dollar pulley can put the power of the SC over the turbo by 10 hp. I mean jeez, unless you count tuning your own Evo you can't even get 20 hp for 100 bucks on an Evo! Oh I researched mods, and even convinced her to probably start doing it sometime in the future. And even made her promise to autocross at least once once it stops being her brand new baby.

Oh, and the other thing is that the S is hard enough to find in automatic, and this one was used for around 18k, and the original sticker on it was over 31k. Hooray for people into sporty cars not liking automatics. It's like that gold Porsche I test drove. 2000, with like 25k miles on it, for like 36k I think... Automatic But this is the BMW style system, so it does a pretty good job, especially just in D-Sport.

Haha I bet you took a tone of pics and Ya thats not bad on the supercharged S How are the paddle shifters on those? I have never driven a Cooper with paddle shift but I have driven a Smart car with them
