I agree with you 100% to man I still don't see why we have to make a FS post in the classified adds if I only want to sell it to one of my Friends LOCALLY First. If I wanted to sell it in general I would do the classifieds no problem. We have are nice little spot here with all the local guys that are cool and we have are own there just like any of the other areas with cool Evo enthusiast like Las Vegas thread

Ya this Forum isn't what it use to be I think when I joined too I really don't see how they could be hurting for money except that they would probably have more venders if they didn't charge so dang much There are other forums that charge way less or charge what this forum does but that is for 3 months on theres I was looking at the worth of this site to the worth of other forums and forums worth more witch means they have more traffic and people on them charge less to be a vender I just don;t get it man

I agree with most of the rules and regulations but when they got new ones and changed old ones it just made it I still love this Forum just a few little things I wish they didn't change from when it stated

Unsurprisingly, you're only getting one side of the story here. Unless you're spamming, posting ramblings of a white power fanatic, or posting **** it's very unlikely that you will get banned here without a warning. The account you were told and the posts which were deleted differ quite a bit.

1.) you posted in the wrong forum, this isn't a classifieds forum and 2.) Like many times an accurate depiction of the events isn't coming out here. You posted he had multiple sets of suspension for sale amongst other things and also posted the following. Wait, are you helping a buddy sell parts he just has "laying around" or helping him run a business? Your account here and your post paint two completely different pictures. This usually happens when people get warnings. The depiction of events isn't inline with what actually happened.

This thread is no different than the rest of the forum and all of the forum rules apply to it. Just because it's a local thread doesn't mean it can bypass the rules we have setup regarding vending or the classifieds. The rules haven't changed much at all in the past years regarding vending, the only thing that may have changed in this thread is that due to some reported posts recently it's gotten more attention than normal. If this was run like a **** regime this post would be gone. Fortunately, I like social threads and think that they are great for the community, but unfortunately not everything goes in the regional social threads. Skating around vendor rules and the private classifieds rules put in place to protect members are two things that will be enforced.

As far as what we're focusing our attention on, moderating is like fishing. We can only catch some of the stuff a little bit of the time, If you would be so kind as to report stuff when you're seeing it is greatly appreciated.

People like to paint us out as the bad guys with half-truth stories as we've seen here in this thread but the reality of it is that there are rules here that aren't likely to change, BUT with community feedback we can and will change stuff. I was one of the people *****ing the loudest when our regional FS thread was locked for not being in the classifieds in late 2005 and eventually after enough discussion regional classifieds were created.

As far as posting in here to alert people why stuff was deleted, it's usually communicated to those who post in the warning that they receive. That was me, and it was a mistake. I nuked it in taking care of some other posts which needed to be cleaned up.

The reason that regionals aren't a FS forum is that it allows people to bypass our rules required to post in the classifieds. While they aren't very hard to circumvent with time, it's one of the few hurdles that we can put in front of people whose sole intention is to come here and scam our members. Where there's not much that can be done in PFS Classifieds in terms of protection, what little can be done we try to do and try to stick to.

Is it only services/products that are for sale that need to be in classifieds? That's the only organizational thing that has to stay out of Regional General? If that's the case, then fine, I accept that. And there's plenty posts I'll be reporting. What about WTT/WTB/Need service posts? What about show/shine posts or technical/how to/engine/suspension etc posts? Does this have to be an entirely social thread? I'll have to read the rules again later.
