Utah Evos
What up Evo brothas here's some pics of my prototype of my new Shift Knob. This is just like the AMS delrin knob. I will be making more and can make them in just about any color you want if anybody is interested let me know. The fit is perfect light weight. I like it alot more then the stock, Its bad *** to slam in gear
Haha I wish I wasnt working

Its Cast Acrylic its just as high temp rated and durable as Delrin. Im going with the Acrylic for the color part. Red and Black and White will be 30. Being that those will be more common in color. There is also pearl colors, for uncommon like your asking it would be 45 bucks. As for gun metal or darks silver the closest color I could get would be DK Gray or LT Gray or a Pearl Black that's sick. If I get more peolpe wanting the same color I can drop the price

Hey how does this look? http://www.cvrmotorsports.com/store/...roduct_id=1862 cause i need new rotors so if figured i would just do it all. Do rotors pads steal braided lines and fluid. Or do you think i should get powerslot slotted rotor for like $200 more? Idk haven't decided.
Two pieces on the other hand....

But honestly, here's what I did to my braking system: ATE Super Blue or that Motul equivalent changed in and out after every few track days, dedicated track compound pads for the front only.
That's it. No stainless lines, no fancy air ducting, nothing. And I never had a single problem with my brakes on the Evo at any event, even when sessions where 30 min long instead of the 20 min they tend to be. Now if you planned on full on racing the car, then you may need more work but that's a given.
Only time I had a problem was when I switched to full-on slicks (rather than DOT r-comps) and the tires could actually keep up with the track pads in the front, which caused the street pads in the rear not to be able to come close, so I ate through a set of DS2500 rear pads in about 1.5 sessions

Haha Sorry Jake I tried talking to him about the Trade thing but then when it came down to it I just told him to call and talk to you to see what you want to do. Sorry if it didn't work out or anything man
I wish I had a extra set of wheels so you could borrow them and get your wheels done
Haha Dang you Young ones
I was there once too tho

That's why I stick with my Evo brothas, we hook each other up (when we can). I've got a few different sources I'm looking at for some cheaper winter wheels (like those ones Jeremy posted awhile back, if they're still for sale) and a few other different sources (including maybe you if you ever get your shop going!
) Then once I get the winter wheels, if it is still mid-summer, I'll put them on temporarily and get the others powdercoated. But all that is pending going full time again

And you're pretty young too, don't act like you're up there with Wes
Most of us (I think) are in the 19-24 range, and it surprises me the level of maturity we have, especially when compared to that Subaru crowd. 23 in a little over a month... This year's birthday should be one of the best though
21 sucked (compared to how it should be), 22 wasn't that great but better, I think 23 should make up for all 3
I wish it was tax return season again... Course, since I haven't worked full time this whole year I don't think I'd get as much as last year anyway. What up Evo brothas here's some pics of my prototype of my new Shift Knob. You'd probably be pretty good on the track too, you oughta come down and try it sometime (assuming you haven't already).
Courses like your's are the ones that take true skill (IMO) and where the classes are balanced well. You can see in your video that there is actually a proper line around the corners etc, whereas here it typically is just an attempt at getting as close to the inner cones as possible... We need bigger event venues here
I gotta try the E center again, and I think when they do the other section at Miller (They usually use two different parking lots, and the ones I've seen have been the small/narrow midway lot, and I think they use the open area down by the garages sometimes...)Its Cast Acrylic its just as high temp rated and durable as Delrin. With the pearl black. And then instead of the blue COBB part, just put a red ring?

I am Pretty interested man
I thought some would like it
I was going to just buy them but figured I try and cnc one myself work out sick
Let see pics of the other colors
[/QUOTE]
I dont have any colord ones yet. That one was my first one just to see if it would work
I liked it so Im going to get some Black and Red for sure here soon. I can post more then
There's a Subie guy that I was asking about making one for me cuz he's made a few himself... but F that, I'll be asking you below...
The only thing with that I dont have the tap thread for Subaru I can get it but would have to add a little for that. I had to get the tap for Evos So I could make it for myself, And it worked out so well I just thought I'd see if anyone else would like it
Host the pics on a website (flickr, imageshack.us, photobucket, etc) take the direct link for the image (should end with a .jpg usually) and copy it. Then come back into EvoM and click the picture of the mountain with the little gray sun, it'll bring up a box to paste the image source, paste that, then hit okay and it'll wrap the IMG tags around it, submit message. Bam.
Ill have to look more into it next time
Pearl Black for an STI please. Can you do it as a ball instead of the bar? If you could do like this:

With the pearl black. And then instead of the blue COBB part, just put a red ring?[/QUOTE]
I wouldn't be able to come out with a clean ball like that It was hard to get the top smooth and rounded like that. Because Im using a old cnc thats all by hand it not programmable. So it's used to get parts straight
I can do a pearl black for you but it would be just like my Prototype. Thats the only shape I will be making because I know it works and I got it down to the T
