I ran mine at 20-21 with the normal stock taper to like 17ish. (Well the normal stock taper, meaning that wasn't messed around with)
Or Falken Avenis RT-615's that what I was in the snow when I got rear ended

sounds like a good stock boost level mine was 22psi with no taper but then again the car had hks cams in it that I wasn't aware of at the time

i run 19 psi in the winter because i have no reason to go fast anyways, i think it is safe up to about 21 psi but i wouldnt go past that.

i have some michilin snow tires that are good, dont drive rt-615 or stock tires in the snow!

Thanks for the replys everyone i am just having some misfiring issues and got a MBC and borrowing a guage. I did a huge search on where to mount MBC vaccum lines and everyone has an opinion, but no solid researched answer. Do you guys hook them up to the turbo outlet and wastegate? Thanks again.

Yeah why park them in the winter??? That makes no sense at all. Put some all season or snows on and they can conquer almost anything. I really miss my car.

gap your plugs down, or try new plugs. wastegate & turbo outlet are good choices for the mbc that is how i always did mine

I can't and wont park my Evo! Its to much fun and its AWD so why? I just went out to day with all the new snow and did alot of messing around at University Mall this afternoon in the parking lot. Got a few other cars passing by to start playing It was a blast and a good thing too that I don't have my snow tires on yet If you don't drive it your just not a true Evo owner They are rally cars and are made to take way more abuse than most people think. I beat the Hell out of mine and its just fine other than I am missing my front bumper right now

+1 on the plugs. If you have ecuflash think about ecu controlled boost, I've got mine set 21psi falling to 19.5 @ 7500...nice and smooth.

I did that at Fashion Place Mall last night after the Huka Bar. Porsche active stability management (traction/stability control... basically, along with my "awd"-ness) made it sad... But when I turned it off

Probably saved my life today since they couldn't fit me in to put my snow tires on and I had to drive around... I knew how PaSM made the car drive, so I managed to drive around quite a bit today with summer tires on! for AWD
