I've been really happy with my Hankook Ice bears.

What do you do at snowbasin? My brother in Law works up there.

Just got a new set of tires today. So now I have 2 Yokohama ADVAN A046's with about 12,000 miles on them that I need to get rid of.

I have no room to store these so I need them gone ASAP.

First $30 gets the pair. PM me if interested.

Thanks

Kumho ASX. If someone wants my Advans mentioned above I will give them away for free. I just don't have the room to store them.

Sold! I'll take em. Just let me know where and when to meet and i will make a nice home for them. Can you use the Kumho ASX's as all season or just winter. I currently have the Adavans on and am scared to drive in the snow.

Sold!! I PM'd you my number so give me a call and we can make arrangements. Kumho ASX"S are Ultra High Performance All season tires that from what I hear, deal with the snow very well. They are a little squishy but not as bad as I thought.

Advans are not suited for snow what so ever and if you search you will find plenty of horror stories. If you do get caught in the snow go very very slow!

Just out of curiosity, what are you guys running your bost levels at? I have full TBE and LICP for mods only, but it seems the colder it gets the more I seem to hit fuel cut. I figured the stock boost levels around here for the evo8 are overkill for 91 octane.

Yeah, Advans = more death in snow in AWD Evo than in a RWD C6 vette.... Trust anyof us that made the mistake of driving with them on.

The ASXs are what I had for awhile, great tread life, great dry traction, and decent enough (esp. on the Evo) in the winter. Gotta get me some LM-25s for the Porsche though, not trusting it to all seasons...

I ran mine at 20-21 with the normal stock taper to like 17ish. (Well the normal stock taper, meaning that wasn't messed around with)
