Utah Evos
hey all, got a problem. launched the evo last night. coming off the line it pulled really hard to the left but then drove pretty straight till i tried to turn right about a block down the road. then had to fight it to get it to turn. pulled over into parking lot and it made a loud clunck as i went through the gutter. i jacked it up and took the tire off. i cannot see anything wrong with the cv or anything else so i'm thinging something internal. anybody had a similar problem or heard of anything like this. advice would be great. thanks.
It almost sounds like a front diff issue. If it's jacked up and you turn one wheel with your hand, does the other wheel turn in the opposite direction?
I dont, but I just posted my ad yesterday for a set of BRAND NEW Enkei RPF1's in 18x9.5 (+38) with Project Kicks 20mm spacers for the front... they also have a set of brand new Bridgestone RE-01s in 255/35/18 on them... these wheels have never been used or mounted on my car- I am moving so I had to put them into a storage unit right after I bought them... If anyone is interested please check out my ad:

I am trying to sell them locally to avoid any hassles with shipping, and the buyer can come check them out in person and see how nice they are

I am planning on getting my car tuned here in the next few weeks by Eficker. I know some of you guys have had experience with him and his tuning. Every time I have talked with him, he seemed like a nice guy and had his stuff together... so I am excited to get my car tuned by him. I am just trying to get some more info so I can make an educated decision. Any information is good information, as long as it's backed up with some experience. and it's not just someone's opion. Erich, please feel free to comment as well I would like to know more about your experience.
Erich is THE best place/way to get tuned unless you have no concern for money what-so-ever then you could probably spend 10 times the price and get a little better tune. Had I ever needed a tune in my Evo again I wouldn't have even second guessed Erich. I dunno how much he's charging now, but its at least half the price of any other tuner including dyno time on Munoa's dyno AND all you need is the tactrix cable and you can have multiple maps and change them via your laptop...
Local + knowledge (he's tuned a lot of cars, I'm sure he can give an exact-ish count) + cheap + good quality = the best thing you can get.
Speaking of which, Erich/Adam if you either get on here, sometime for kicks I'd like to dyno the Porsche if you guys can dyno one (the lugs screw into the hub, rather than having studs...)

hello everyone. having some clunking issues in the front end. i'm trying to pull the cv out of the passenger side. i am stuck on one bolt. its where the lower control arm goes right under the hub assembly. this sound familiar to anyone? i dont wanna force it out unless i have to. i'm worried about stripping the threads. thanks in advance.

I like to make good power on my tunes, but not at the sacrifice of reliability. Low knock counts (or 0) and conservative fuel make for a long runnig motor.
I need a few stock parts in anyone locally has them lying around, lmk.
Stock Airbox w/o intake tube
RS radio delete plate
Battery tie down with long bolt arms that secure it (not battery tray)
Thanks guys!
