I'm in stock brother! We pulled the dyno out yesterday for an STi. It came in with 217 hp and left with 329!

^ Ya that STI was so slow before now its a beast!!! Ficker did a great tune on it and the car is much, MUCH BETTER NOW.
It also looks SOOO SICK now that I painted it for my friend this weekend with rattle can black spray paint It only cost $21.04 for the 20 cans at wal-mart, $10.57 for the sand paper, $11.86 for the tape, $21.20 for masking paper and then me painting it $250 a hour x 8 hours and it all cam out to $2065.68 and that is less than half of what he was quoted at a shop and they said it would take a few weeks and be a month or so before they could get to it. Well I did it in 1 days time and alot cheaper TAKE THAT MAACO jk. But I will put a picture of it on as soon as it is all back together and done drying in the guy's garage.

so im looking at getting another evo and my friend is gonna sell me his but im not sure how good of a deal it is. its a 03 silver with 43000 miles on it. it has dba two peice rotors the 5000 series i believe it has turboback exhaust intake boost controller fuel pump the tranny was rebuilt like ten thousand miles ago by mitsubishi and it also has a new act street clutch and comes with three sets of rims. but it was in an accident with no frame damage it was hit on the front passenger side and needed a new front bumper and front fender. it drives straight and the tires wear normal and he is would sell it to me for 16000 maybe less. so what do you think is it a good deal?

 

Well if you don't buy it then I may need to forget putting a down payment on a house and get another Evo too. If it only needs a front bumper and fender then do it

Hey I have a question for anyone that might have any ideas. I know diagnosing is hard but any thoughts could help.

Anytime I give my evo heavy throttle it shutters and shakes and becomes violently irratic. I can "granny" drive it all day long as long as I don't try to build much boost or wind up the motor over 4000. I've had problems with the balance shaft belt breaking twice and the shaft itself feels to be under pressure. Could the balance shaft be causing this? I don't have a wide band so I don't know my numbers, but it feels like it's drowning itself out... Thanks for any help.

272's, header, turbo back 3" w/ test pipe, intake, IC and upper/lower IC pipe, walbro 255, forge mbc, gfb b/o valve, plugs, cables, I had a mail in flash but returned it to stock to see if that would make a difference but no improvement.
