The Hollywood Baja was a trunk mount and the Yakima is a roof mount.

That looked pretty fun Jared. Maybe I need to make an effort to come down to one of those. How hard was Wendover on your tires? What kind of car were you following, was it a SE-R?

Maybe you guys should save up and skip Wendover a few times and come to Spring Mountain in October? Just a thought...

Wendover is THE HARDEST surface on tires known to man and/or Evo! It is like a cheese grader mixed with 10 grit sandpaper. It kills tires.

I'm done racing for the summer.

Can I get a Amen! I'm diggin it.

The only crappy thing is the fact that I almost caused a wreck from someone starring so hard at them on the freeway. When I had no wing and bronze/poop wheels nobody even noticed my car. Now after just one day of driving with the *new* look I swear everyone I go past is starring at my car.

They're wondering why you curbed ALL your wheels on Fire Lane painted curbs...

How hard is Wendover on tires? If I take my car this weekend, will I be driving on bald tires on the way home (stock tires, that is)?

Wendover is murder on tires. How much tread do you have currently? How do you feel about driving on totally bald tires?

I drove my tires until they were 100% bald on all surfaces. If you are down to the wear bars then you will finish off the tires for sure. If you have 25% tread, they will be at the wear bar when you leave.

Fair enough. They're pretty much new, so I guess I won't have to worry about cording them.

How much is registration for this thing?
