He could rebuild your tranny and more than likely install the galant final drive. I was suggesting asking him if the galant final would work in the six-speed, but it looks like you've already figured that one out. He quoted me $800 for a complete rebuild (which didn't include the final drive mod)

Larry H Miller Subaru in Sandy is having the Easy Street STI out for a little showing. I also think Ben and Nick from Rally Sport should be there, as well as other locals. I'll probably swing by on my way home and check things out. I guess the show goes from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm.

They're the only Suby place in the valley I've been to that hasn't said some dumbass comment like "wanna race?" or "wanna trade that in for an STi?" Mark Miller gives me a hard time every time I've been there... sorry, just had to vent a little... If I get out of class early enough I'll probably swing by between 8 and 9, just to see what the big deal is.

PS, the Easy Street STI runs 9's and is the fastest "street trim" Subaru I believe.
