Are you talking about Auto-X. It's $30 a day. I think they are having a Saturday and a Sunday running. If your tires are new you will be fine. They just wear more than normal racing out there. But Auto-X is much easier than the IVR events on tires.

I don't know, what are you talking about? This weekend is SCCA auto-x both days. You'll get maybe 6-8 laps. 1 lap, wait for the others to go, then take another lap.

IVR runs out there also, about once a month. IVR is not Auto-X, it's faster on a bigger course and you lap for 10 mins at a time. You get about 3 lapping session or a total of 30-40 mins on the track if you want.

Yes! Auto-X this weekend both days. $30 a day. It is fun. Ray is setting the course for Saturday and it should be nice and open. I'm not going, I finished a set of tires off last weekend at IVR.

Brake Pads

Hawk HP Plus Brake Pads

The Hawk Performance HP Plus Ferro-Carbon compound can take the heat at the track and get you home safely without having to change your brake pads in and out. This compound was designed for the serious street and autocross enthusiast.

Warning! Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by this product to achieve "race-level" braking, rotor wear, noise, dust, and pad life may be affected.

Fits: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII 03-95

Let me tell you what!! They are not joking about noise!! I have a set of fronts on my Evo and I am pulling them off tomorrow!! These would be great for AUTO-X but not for daily driving!! If anyone is looking for a complete set of these let me know!! I'm pulling the fronts off tomorrow and the rears are new still in the box!! Fronts have less than 30 miles on them!! Asking $200.00 for all!!

I don't know if Scott is saying to buy Volks, or not... but... if it were me, and I had to decide between the two, I'd get Volks.

Braveheart: Get Ferrodo DS-2500s. They're not too squeaky, but they do put out a lot of dust.

And yes, Auto-X rocked. The course was really big, and my tires did well. Plus, I took a ride in a kick-*** RX-7 that was really fast. It was cool.

If you haven't seen them in person, you better, because they are ugly in the Evo sizes.
