My car , RE-01 245-35-17 (taller heavier) , Megan 02 housing ( ported the wastegate more) , megan DP/center pipe/ Apexi WS muffler All 3" no cat ( sounds like a tractor haha) , Hallman mbc ceramic ball, K&N cone filter with aluminium MAF plate, Walbro 255. Spare tire/jack assembly, front and rear crash beams, some other stuff removed... And I'm almost Jdm weight at 160 lbs.

full spare tire, everything was still there.We did a roll race from 60 in 3rd to 100 . We were dead even all through 3rd and I pulled maybe 1 car length in 4th. I know that prolly was too short to tell a big diff but yeah.
+1. Something is likely wrong with your car I'm guessing, and who knows what that could be. An Evo with catless tbe and a tune should pull away from a stock STi more than that.

my old 04 STI that was bone stock from a stop was neck and neck with a bone stock 9, but from a roll he would put a few cars on me

Just noticed this part. You BOTH started in 3rd gear at 60? The gearing on the STi is different, as is the power curve. That could've been part of it.
Yeah, oh well though, I got there late because I kept deciding to fall back to sleep. 2nd model showed up not long after the first, but she was all clothed and what-not, so we thought she was there for something else. Wes started talking to her before we even knew she was there for us
