My uncle used to build & sell mini parts when he started with scooby & evo years back. His track mini was ****ing sick and was a blaaaast to drive, Vesko also has a mini track car

What the ****. I don't think me being on the Evo forum is a mystery to more than maybe 3 or 4 people on all of EvoM. When did you buy your Evo? How long have you had it for? I bought mine in Spring of 04, I had it for 3 years, of which I put 53k miles on the car, each year I had at least 6 track days and a bunch of autocrosses, and in the 3rd year I had at least 15 track days. How much have you tracked/autocrossed your Evo?

I dunno what the **** I did to **** you off... but relax man, I've been on here longer than anyone else posting in Utah Evos. Both the Mini and the STi have UtahEvos stickers on em.

I appreciate most any car period. Sounds stupid, but I really do. Haven't ever gone to the North American Motoring club page (like EvoM for Minis) because I don't really care, it isn't technically my car or crowd, but I do go on MiniUtah.com. NASIOC is stupid, I just use RMIC for extra entertainment at work, and iwsti is no fun, but full of plenty of info. (Speaking of which I need to go on and read again how to raise my headlights...)

No more sporty than the Evo or STi look. Well... some of them look sporty, but so do some Evos and STis... You should come to a Mini meet if you think they are "gay" There's a guy pushing nearly 300 whp... Seems lame to the crowd that gets 300 whp with an exhaust and tune... but it also only weighs 2600 lbs. I know from experience that a 2600 lb 300whp car with r-comps can easily keep up on track with a 300 whp 3300lb Evo with slicks.

+1, I think someone did the Home Depot trick that I said. There's a bolt you can get that fits down inside and a little black rubber cap for it. Super cheap, super clean, and still gets good signal. (Hmm... maybe knowing things like that are why I am still here... )

I'm gonna see if I can find pictures of Vesko's Mini... But even that aside, some of the Minis I've seen at meets and trackdays are pretty sick. Lex kept up with me when I was in the Porsche in his Mini. REO1Rs and some handling mods are all I think he has. I'd pull away like crazy in straights, but he'd catch up quickly in the twisties.
