You can just buy a bolt and throw a vacuum cap on the end of it too if you want Sam, or cut the stock one until you can get one I got mine from vivid for $25 to my door...just sucks the sun has faded it

Prices seem to have gone up a little since winter on the STis... So I decided for kicks (since it is free anyway) I'd list it for sale on KSL and see if I get any decent bites. If I do, I can guarantee I'll sell it and get back into a IX.

Ditto, rather than spend 20 something bucks on a stubby antenna, just do the chop shop job, it looks just fine.

But not that much more and then you have a Bigger more efficient turbo instead of a reworked stock one. Much more reliable power for maybe $100 more than an FP. Just my own thoughts.

Ahhh. See I thought yours had some adapter to fit the stock mani and these were garret turbos with a proper evo flange on them. My bad. Your setup was sick. That's what I'll be doing but instead of buying all new exhaust, I'll just make my own O2 housing that will take the 3" V-band and go into the exhaust I already have (since I have 3" exhaust all the way back already anyway). Save myself a few hundred dollars.

id rather have something that has better street power vs peak power . im either doing the new BBK full or the new FP green, . I thought about doing a 3076 but the bbk and green will make similar power with a better power band

The 3071 will give you a quicker spool than the 76. I'm not looking for huge peak power either but i'll sacrifice a little down low for the efficiency of the gt30 turbo. I think a properly set up gt30 will give you almost as good a power band with a much greater potential and much safer too. And for not much more money. I'm not trying to knock the FP's at all because they are obviously great turbos and well proven. I just have used the garret turbos in many other cars and have never been disappointed.

I don't have an Evo or anything close and I'm the one who got the thread renamed from Evo's in Utah to Utah Evos! So welcome!

I'd honestly just use ECU controlled boost. Dunno if there's anyone in town who can tune for you. There's COBB, but I hear they are like a month and a half out in appointments. If Ficker ever comes back you could FickerFlash. You could see if COBB has an OTS (Off the shelf, pre-made) map for the AccessPort that would work for your mods.
