I think we should try to go for a run this weekend if the weather is good... and my car is put back together.

I'll be swinging by the wash sometime this week. My mom had a few of the passes for the Works or Full Service and gave me one after our road construction in our neighborhood finished. So I saved it for after I got back from Vegas. How long does the waxing take? I should probably get that done before the **** storm starts... Once winter is over that's when I'll probably pay someone like Juan or Euclid to do a crazy awesome detail job and make it shiny for summer And get rid of all the damn swirls It's like 40 for the wax right?

Weather looks like it should be good. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) should go out to the track on Sunday.

Here's a copy and paste of someone else on the Mini forums talking about the event:

This weekend there is a food drive at miller motor sports park called Drive Away Hunger. In short you take some cans out to the track and in turn you get three laps around the 4.5 mile track. It is very controlled by the mustang pace cars so no passing, and speeds get around 70 mph. You can even take a passenger. I did this last time and had a great time and is also for a very good cause. I was planning on taking my mini out.

here is a link to the event..

How have you liked them? I am debating whether to wait and get some rotors for the install also.

Personally I don't see the value of slotted/drilled rotors, especially since the ones we had on the S cracked. The factory Evo rotors are already pretty insane. I mean, mine held up for 3 years with tons of track racing with track pads on, and the never warped or cracked at all, just wore down and started turning blue near the end. Then I just got blanks for super cheap

I hear it is a fun time. Tons of different people come out, since it is such a cheap way to try out the track and also support the community. Unless something else comes up I'll be there for sure, probably force Ali to come out in her Mini too. Maybe we'll just bring her car.

Wes do you want your Stock Rotors back? I still have them sitting in my shop and I am getting out of my shop to cut down on cost because I really cant afford it right now and want to save up for a house and school.

Weather looks to be rainy, but hopefully not snowy... We'll see as it gets closer.
