Ok, my plane lands in SLC at noon next tuesday. I need someone with a tactrix cable that can delete my misfire code that my cams, twin disc keep throwing. My cars tags expired on the 31st so i need to get it reinspected when I get back ASAP. So if you live in Davis or Weber county and don't mind driving to Syracuse I would greatly appreciate it.
Also I did have one question about a tune thats on my cars ECU. My dad went out to start my car and it was of course dead and i was wondering if the current tune would still be saved on the ECU or if its gone. I don't know how long the car has been dead but my guess is at least 2 weeks. I know that on my 03 WRX I had to go on a few spirited drives to get the car running right. I really don't feel like blowing my motor up since it still has less than 5000 miles on it. Anyone have EvoScan that can do a quick log on my car.

Your tune is fine, It's not going anywhere. I don't think a PO300 will fail an I/M, however It's very simple to get rid of....Keep in mind that disabling that bit DISABLES ALL THE CODES IN THE PO3xx FAMILY.

I gotta admit, taking an evo through some twisties is just as fun as throwing a poopra down a dragstrip.
