well props to seth last night i think he got the stock turbo down to 12.3 @ 113 or so!!!

fre was a nice guy & owned all the other utah evo's w/ his passes 11.8,11.7 11.7 with a best mph of 121 i think.

as for me i just suck @ launching my car the past month or two!!! 12.5, 12.2 & 12.6 all with 60ft's above 2.0. bwhaaaaaaaaa lol i suck oh well good times nice meeting fre last night way cool guy.

12.3 with a 1.85 60' at 113
i'm stoked about the 12.3 but this is the scoop.

afr 11.2 - 1
timing at 15 - 20 degrees at max boost across the rpm spectum
this car was not set on kill - ( there is a lot of room to grow )
i lifted off the gas on every shift
i am running a 6 speed MR tranny which hurts your 1/4 mile time. i was crossing the line at close to 7800rpm in 4th. the stock turbo trails off after red line.
when practicing my launch before the race i started getting a little bit of wheel hop and it never went away... i am not sure what happened but i may have hurt something?
bottom line - i could not get better than a 1.85 60'

i am completely convinced that the stocker will go 11.9 on the stock turbo.
1.7 flat 60'
5 speed tranny
WOT shifting
afr 12.2 - 1

the stock turbo will go 11's at this altitude
(go ahead and flame)

 

Well Seth, I would have never believed the stocker could have done the 12.3 pass, but you proved us wrong

If you get into the 11's, more props to you. I think you have put out the fire on the all the flaming after last night. Good work and best of luck into the 11's
