Yeah, haha, that was me, my girlfriend and I were waving at all the people who were looking at us with the sort of blank stare "what the hell are you all doing" look... especially the people who also looked angrily at us or the people who stopped for us to go pass on corners etc. You especially though, because you were driving so slow and looking at all the cars with no one responding... Nice looking 300 by the way.

ya ya, I was just jealous not to be in that group, mine would have been the slowest evo there and I can't have any of that. So after I can get this thing to run write I would love to run with the pack of wolfs.

I just bought it and smells like it runs rich with a rough idle doesn't seem to spool up very quick. Not sure of it's past, bought it off ebay from a dealer in IL. only mod is the down pipe back exhaust and a drop in.

Does anyone know of a good dealer for warranty work? 2nd gear problem with the '03 14k miles. Just do not want to hear about the aftermarket exhaust and gauges causing the problem or whatever. I do however have a short through shifter hmmm.

Barber brothers in Orem didn't seem to mind my mods.

Of all of them that I have visited and talked to (which is the two Ken Garffs, and that one) I would agree with this statement... But it's iffy.

Anyway, I need someone to come with us in a slower Evo so I don't feel quite so lame with my camlessness... Though Zach's lack of spoolage made me feel a little better about myself, but just a little bit better.

The meet was pretty cool. I had to turn around and head home to go meet our landlords at our house to look at some leaky pipes. I thought he was coming in the afternoon, but he decided on mid morning.

Looks like the loop was full of traffic. I "hear" from sources that the loop is wonderful at 1:00am. Infact I heard a "group" of import cars used to drive it a few nights a week last summer at extreme velocity. I also hear that some douchenozzle slammed his WRX into a large tree at the summit directly in front of some guy in an Evo with a tiny wing.

that road was sweet jared it would be fun to rally up or down it with no cars!!!! my turbo isn't so friendly for those short turning roads but i think with a little reving i could stay on power...lol
we should go rally that road one of these nights.

so to jump into the middle of this conversation, but there's a fun road to drive out west through the town of Terra. It's a little too short but its fun. Really nice pavement with good natural banks in the corners. Hardly any traffic.

Just thought I'd mention that since you were talking about the loop.

Back to lurk mode.

East canyon up into lost creek resevoir is still one of my favorites. I drove it last night at about 8 PM. Basically no one on the road and it's a nice long 1.5 hour drive. I'm up for a drive anytime. The lost creek resevoir road is almost always completely abandoned. There is a nice dirt road drive at the end of that as well. I even drove the dirt road portion in the S2000 once.

The Alpine Loop is pretty gnarly at speed. We used to drive it all the time, since I lived down there. I watched a WRX cream itself. Hit the tree and the radiator exploded, the car lifted off the ground and bounced off of a couple other trees. All directly in front of me. The kid was stupid and didn't know what he was doing. A few other guys had some offs and whacked the rear ends of their cars against some aspens. It's so tight there is no room to screw up. We are kinda over it now, it's just too risky with it being so tight. Even in the middle of the night the first guy doesn't know if someone is coming.

The greatest road ever is the Mount Nebo Loop. it's actually 2 lanes, super long and uber twisty. But it has cows, and elk so you gotta be ready for anything. When I got sick of the Alpine Loop last year I started making visits to Nebo. It's off the hook.

Were is Tera?
