My car hasn't been a good plow this year? It's spent the worst part of the winter about 4ft up on a lift!!

Seriously. If you get in snow that is "lip deep" will that ARP jobber handle it or will it snap like a twig?

Coming out of my alley the snow was about 9 inches deep and my stock lip was "in it" grabbing all sorts of snow and throwing it up over my car as I blasted out in 1st gear on boost. When I got out of my car all the openings for the intercooler and radiator were filled with snow.

Okay guys, if anyone spots a deal on 264/272 cams, let me know (preferably HKS), and I'll keep looking around too.

Jake, why 264/272 combo, why not just 272's?

The APR is tough as ****. I've plowed through 2ft of snow with it, and it holds great. I've actually caught the edge of the lip on a slight ridge going into my garage, and it's brought me to a complete stop without causing any damage to the splitter. It's an A+++ snow plower

I don't think that was the original intent of the splitter

I think that voids the APR splitter warranty.

As far as I have read Jeremy, the 264/272 combo provides a better low end improvement over the 272/272 but less of a high-end improvement. I mean, I suppose I should just take the long view of it all and realize that the turbo that I plan on upgrading to will be an upgrade simply to spool faster, so you're probably right in saying I should just go for the 272s. I'll check out the classifieds.

Oh yeah, besides cams, and install... what else will I need to pay for? (i.e. ARP Headstuds, and that torquing tools you were talking about ages ago... I think...)

I'll need Mountain Dew. You could do headstuds if you like, it's a nice little safety measure. You don't need any tensioner.
