Well I just got done with my evo 9 turbo swap and wow, if I have one thing to add, always replace the copper washers on the water lines leading to the turbo. Now I just need to take it for a spin and see how it is.
Well I took it fore a spin today and ran into some trouble. My first pull, my LICP blew off while I was on I-15. Let me tell you guys something.....taking your car apart on the side of I-15 is less to be desired. After everything was put back together, I went for a few pulls and ran some logs. The AF's changed to a full .5 lean making me 11.9/1. Not the greatest for 91 octane. Boost was set to around 20psi. One thing I did notice is that I was flowing alot more air on 20psi than I ever was at 22psi on my old 9.8 turbo. Going to make a few more pulls tonight on 22psi and see the difference.
