I am in need of something

So I was putting my turbo back together today and the bolt that holds the clamp together busted after I turned it a couple times and now I need a new one. Anyone have on off a old turbo they wouldn't mind parting with?

If not I will have to build one out of a bolt and a bunch of washers.

 

Just use duct tape... i'm sure jid2 will spot ya some!

Hey whats up! I live up in the Ogden area and just bought my evo a couple of weaks ago. I just ran it last friday at rmr. Just wanted to introduce myself.

My best was against an 03 supercharged cobra. I ran 13.81 at 98 mph with a 1.950 60' it was so fun he ran a 14.01 and couldn't catch me!

 

that's a pretty good time for a stock car up here... gets some mods on that & you will run 12's

 

Where should I start I already have three inch turbo back. I just don't know what to get next.

 

well i would get a good intake buschur/ams ect. boost control & a mail in flash that would get you there or really close atleast. those 9 turbos are no joke they seem much better than the 8's..
or you can always get the boost control throw in some race gas & turn up your boost to 22 or so.

 

Is someone running an Evo 9 out at RMR too? What are they running?

 

Mine is just an 05 so its an eight. what manual boost controllers are good. There was a blue 06 at the track and he ran a 13.5 I think he had a fuel pump cause it was blowin a little black in between shifts.

 

well your turbo is still better than the 03's but i like the hallman manual boost controllers they work good.(for cheap) i bet your car blows smoke inbetween shifts too they run really rich from 5500 to redline to keep the motor really safe.. that's why the flashes help so much its just because of the leaning out on the stock map.
