It IS about the second or third cheapest performance mod for the Porsche

Intake = ~500
Tune = ~800
Suspension = ~1500-2000, obviously higher for the crazy stuff
Exhaust = Typically ~2000+

Supposedly an intake and tune should gain 40 whp though... Supposedly But I don't know if I want to do anything more to it than the wheels (most likely just powder coating, but maybe upgrading in the future) and adding bluetooth to my stereo. I'd really rather not end up spending 5000 on stuff that I'll never see again... I'll save that till the day I buy my 911 TT But who knows what will happen, regardless, I don't have a whole lotta extra money right now.

So when you get a 911TT which ones are you going to get 996 or 997?

Well... I'd like a year old (whenever I happen to get one... IF I get one) one with like 100-5000 miles. But chances are I'll really be shooting for a late 996 run TT, like '04-05. It'll be awhile though, at the very least another 5 years. So maybe I'll get lucky again and find an '05 that some bike enthusiast had wrapped in baby diapers and seran wrap again... Still can't believe I found mine with only 30k on the clock. Doctors in little towns who ride bicycles FTW!

O come on if I can spend close to 20k in 2yrs in the evo you can spend a few thousand on suspension You did grab a nice deal on that porsche though..doctors riding bikes instead of driving porsche's FTW

now douche bags I think riding a R1 and rc51 last night FTL. I saw they and they were being all cool guy, you know full gear with no helments o and sunglass on at night. So I revved up the evo on them and got behind them at a light going left and I could see home boys talking **** looking back at me so I start two stepping like u know what **** you guys light goes green and they start going and well I lay into it catching up to both bikes by time I was slapping into 4th they were probably like wwwwwwwwwwwwwwhat the **** is going on here and slowed down cuz top of 4th gear me hitting brakes checking rear view they were way back there. So anyway I think they'll think twice about evo's expessially the ones who have fire coming out the exhaust

Did you burn their sunglasses off of their face? I hate *******s like that, they grow up to be the stereotypical Porsche owners...

And I am not the manager of a high end shuttle service company I need to make more money. I do WANT to get new wheels, a GT3 full body kit, suspension, the intake, exhaust, and tune for the car (asside from the bluetooth, and probably ski-rack I'll get next year). And a set of RT03s with some take-off slicks for the track would be nice Plus I'm probably going back to school in the fall, which means less money to spend on car stuff

It had the factory 8 shifter... So, yeah?

Injen exhaust, stock suspension that had like 3500 miles on them (I had JICs but they were toast), Alpine/JL $3000 custom stereo, K&N filter, Blitz II Turbo Timer, Defi VSD HUD II, Oil Pressure sensor linked to the HUD, Defi BF boost gauge on the steering wheel, control units for Defi stuff mounted in the little cubby under the HVAC controls, and some sort or other of Enkei wheels that where painted black with a "polished" (unpainted, basic gray color) lip, TRE TC, Hallman MBC. I think I have a picture somewhere, maybe on my MySpace, lemme see.

The kid that bought it moved to Jackson Hole, WY as far as the dealer told me though.

Okay here, I've got a TON of pictures on my HDD at home, a lot of cool East Canyon shots... And of course the picture of it on my debit card, which happens to match the picture of the Porsche on my credit card:

Really? I wonder if it was the same guy that hit me up for mine. I wanted to sell it, but I was afraid that one day I might need it to pass a tamper test.

My buddy, Mike, that has the same mods as you that I was telling you about when you got tuned, had the same kind of thing happen to him. He was cruisin down the freeway and an r6 pulled up all cool and cocky, and started revvin, so Mike ran him in 4th and pulled on him. The guy asked Mike what he had in the car, Mike's friend leaned out the window and said, FIVE PEOPLE!!!
