Hello Evo Utah.
I just picked up my first 05' evo VIII MR.
Does anyone know of a good shop here in Utah where I can get it tuned and such?

 

Munoa Performance In Orem Ficker Flash does the Tuning and they have a Dyno too. Or maybe Cobb in up in SLC.

Same feeling here. I went to the Stripper, that I think is the other place he said he'd recommend, though it looked like the specialized in furniture stripping so I'm not sure... I'll have to call Ray or stop by sometime and ask where else he recommends. If it is the place I stopped by, they're next to some Porshce parts store I've never seen or heard of before Kinda cool that I found that anyway, I'll have to stop in and see if they sell the ski racks for cheaper.

Welcome! And yeah, Ficker Flash at Munoa Performance is your best bet, and your best bang for the buck, especially since it'll save you gas on a trip all the way up to COBB

 

My wife and I just went up to Trappers Loop, the road was closed. I have other canyon roads in mind, if it doesn't open in time.

 

Do any of you know how to get a greddy turbo timer to work? mine just shuts off when i turn the car off. Is there a way to reset the thing back to original settings?

just been reading some other sites and i read something that said you are suppose to disconnect the timer if you jump the battery so maybe i ****ed it up when the battery died and i will need to hit you up on that but i will keep trying stuff and see what anyone else thinks. i will talk to you at the bbq

I just remebered something, try your timer settings on the right side T1 and T2) see if you can adjust the time up and down.

 

I was driving my car for the first time today legally and when i was down in provo i saw Evolution IVGSR's mirage with the body kit and two blue naked (wingless) evo 8's and a white one pulled off the freeway at point of the mountain. who did i see? are you all on here? i was in my silver 8 with the body kit on university

A friend & I are doing custom fab work on the side if any one is interested.

The Evo IV (Evolution VIGSR) is Dallin, one of the blue wingless could have been Evan(evo domination) if he took his spoiler off again and other could have been Chuck (chuckbyu)? That is if he took off his spoiler too?

 

So I bought an exhaust manifold off another member of the forums and I called that soda blaster to find out how much he thought it would cost to clean it up: $100.00! Then we got to talking about evo's and he told me about how he owned one and had nothing but problems

Taking it to schmidt paint for a $25.00 sand blasting.

I'm going to try to make it to the BBQ just to rub elbows with all you hotshots! Thankfully "mustache march" will be over so I can shave this ridiculous thing and get back to looking normal. Everyone looks over at me in the car and immediately starts laughing, I can't tell if its the spoiler or my cop mustache + aviators. Either way, its good stuff but I'm ready to ditch it. Anyone else grow a ridiculous mustache for no reason other than its "mustache march?"

If one of the blue ones was bby with evo VII tails, that was probably me. I was out whoring around, naked, with the 'ol lady all day. I didn't see you, bummer. There is another one I see from time to time, but he has emblems and I think he is electric blue.
