At the shop i work we just throw it in the trash when we are done with it. I dont think there is a problem with it. we usually do it on huge pieces of card board then fold them all up when we are done and throw it in the trash

Thanks, I had to use them to buy a replacement clutch/flywheel and didnt have the time to wait for an internet order. They have a nice shop, but agree they were a lil too expensive when I stopped in...and no military discount

Jake, do you know if you are going to be instructing at the SCCA day? That would be cool if you were there. Someone who understood the Evo.
Haha, I was really hard on the tires, but the only ones that had problems were the Kuhmos V710s just because they aren't great with the amount of heat the AWD Evo can dish out, or the brakes (got my brakes up to and over 700 F many many times, smoke and orange rotors ftmfw).

And I don't know if I'm instructing or not. Typically they've emailed for instructors like a week or less in advanced I can email Dave K. and see if they need any. I wonder if they're mad at me for a particular incident... I'll check SCCA forums and see if they're asking about it yet, maybe I'm just not on the mailing list anymore for some reason.

Hey Ryan, formal welcome to the forum to you, and thanks for being out there for us . As far as RSD, bbbwrx actually works there, and last I remember he was one of the co-owners, if you PM him deals get a little better for locals (as is typical for cool companies, just like with PMP). COBB is the only company that doesn't seem to give many freebies to locals.

My TOB was loose from like month 1 (after the engine went KABLOOM and the Mitsu tech got in there). It rattled a lot when the car was in neutral and the clutch was out. But I don't think that's what you're talking about.

Oh and no one answered if it would take off all the brake dust, though I assume it would.

^ Ya that is why i said to be careful. One of the times we used it at my wok someone was being a dick and flipping the **** all over and messed up three cars paint jobs and had to pay for all the work to be done out of his own pocket ($9000). He now doesnt work there anymore. It was funny **** to see him get chewed out by my boss.

You'll most likely have yours done before mine i gotta get some quotes on how much its going to cost for the red lip and i need to go somewhere to get the tires taken of my wheels. Oh and that reminds me i need to go buy two more jackstands, What should i use for the jack point in the rear?

I am not a owner I am just a employee there. They just can't seem to get rid of me.

We do our best to help out the locals but most of the prices you find online are not in line with what we have to charge. Most of the cheap vendors don't have a physical location and don't stock the product. So they have a very low overhead. But this equals into them(most of the time) not being knowledgable about the product and most companies don't sell direct to these places so it is harder to get a warranty.

So since we have all these things to pay for which makes it nice for you guys to come down and check stuff out and buy it right away but it does make our prices higher.

If you call me at work(don't check pms here during the day so you prob will get a slow response) and tell me the price I will do my best to match it or come close.

I usually place the jackstands in the rear where the control arms mount to the frame. Never had a problem.
