Weight sticker on the door, stupid, but I had things I wanted looked at anyway.

 

Oh right, there was that weight sticker... changing it from like 880 to like 860 lbs... stupid mitsubishi...

Jason at Southtown (when he was there) was cool with mods too.

I've had a few recalls serviced there - some airbag warning sticker under the hood, and the thermostat recall thing.

 

Yeah I feel pretty lucky so far.

 

My Evo VIII has developed a small wine under load and deceleration!! It makes the wine weither it is in gear or not so i know it's not the tranny!! A freind said his is doing the same thing and it's because of the cold weather causing the fluids to become thicker and all!! I'm going to change all related fluids (tranny, center diff , and rear diff fluids) when I get back from Florida anyways!!

(I first noticed the wine in the drivetrain as I was getting off the interstate on thursday!! Didn't hear this last winter)

What's everyone elses thoughts on this?!

 

i have a nice whine when engaging the clutch ie either downshifting or just starting out but not on normal upshifts @ high rpm's ,my drivetrain will blow up this year ha ha sad part is i try to take the load off of it by beating the clutch but oh well
good luck to anyone who has any mods and tries to get a warranty out of it...

anyone with a aem how do you have your launch control set up with the speed sensor??? what is your low speed ect i can't seem to get it to work???
