Yeah, first time I swapped out with Scott (the creator of this thread) for a day since he had an extra hi-flow. And swapped back RIGHT after. Then the last emissions/inspections I bought a hi-flow to make selling the car a little easier too. Put it in and left it in till about 2 months later when I sold it. But it is uber easy to swap out as long as you remember to put something under both sides of the tbe so it doesn't fall down

And Jason's idea may work, they just do a visual inspection. My car passed the sniff test, near the high end of pollution, but still passed when I did it with a test pipe.

thats what i was thinkin of doing but i don't know how to weld

also been thinkin of finding a cheap hfc and just guttin it out

i have an o2 sensor spacer, no cat no crash beams and a few other things and i still passed the emmissions thingy that you have to go through every 2 years or whatever

I remember seeing some one who made a test pipe that had a cat housing welded to it but i cant remember where it was

I went through emissions testing 2 times in Utah with my test pipe and the stock heat shields welded on over top! They plug into the the OBDII for the sniff, so as long as you don't have a CEL you are good.

I looked under the car today and it doesn't look like the oem cat is even on there, some after market i guess? But my CEL is on so most likely that means the cat is broken, doesn't it? Or could it be something else?

Perrin Performance makes an o2 eliminator for the downstream o2 sensor. It eliminates it all together and sends the proper feed back to the ecu to keep the CEL from coming on for that reason. I do my safety/IM in davis county even though I live in utah county. All they do is like JID2@Binary said. If no CEL, you pass. I put my cat on just incase someone wants to do a tamper-test. I run my test-pipe 90% of the time.

No. He is just online for now. Just uploaded all of the cams to his site right now. But he does have some under the table deals on Brian Crower Cams for cheap if you pm me.(so he doesn't get in trouble through his vendor

Well Brandon and Joe are going to be at the track (test and tune day) So I don't think they will make it.

Allen Doesn't have a car right now just a big SUV and I may be able to get Brandon's HOT ROD BLACK STI out and Seth is the one with the 700WHP Skyline and it getting some more work done to it

I may try to get him out in his Porsche turbo for Jake
