See, the problem is, it has nothing to do with safety, so its only a service bulletin. If it was a recall, then they would do the work for free. Also, if you have an existing warranty, then they will fix it for free too. Mine has expired. So, I have to pay. Its gay. The guy I bought it from didn't bother to have mitsu fix it before the warranty ran out.

Anyway, I don't know if they'll remember fixing it, it was 3, almost 4 years ago. They'll remember doing my car, and the two guys that did it are still there, but I don't know who fixed the HVAC control, I just went in complaining about it after they did the HU install. I'm surprised Mitsu wants to charge you for a TSB, I had one done on the Porsche a few weeks after I bought it for no charge, and 2 done on the Evo back in the day at no charge.
Hey mine is doing the same thing. So what is this TSB thing you are talking about?

Which is why going to court and saying "I'll pay you money, but don't put it on my record" works so well. Hell, if it meant avoiding getting pulled over for minor traffic violations, I'd donate 100 dollars a month to the "law," I'm sure a lot of people would. Especially if they'd let you prove you were a safe driver at those speeds, like, a speed driver certification.

Speaking of which, when're we starting our club Jason?
I think we should get together at least once a month, we need to pic a place or restaurant to meet at, then we need to pick, a name, people to run it:
President
Treasurer
Secretary
Let me know if anyone is serious.

You were NOT in front ... you were behind. Honda S2000 > Mitsu-shxtty Evo.

But yes, your excellent physics skills for the win at court!

I saw a yellow Evo here in Moscow yesterday. It was all pimped out with a hideous giant intricate graphic all over the car. Fast and Furious Moscow?

haha, ya man no problem it was our pleasure, and we had a blast, and also by september i'll be off my probation and wont have to be so paranoid about getting a ticket haha, but i would be down for either a potluck or paying up front, just keep me posted on the date and stuff and we'll most likely be there for sure

When they have the 96940011 rom I will look at switching over I just don't want to use the edm rom right now

So was it a big noticable difference to you vs mbc ?? I'd like to see how the ecu boost is controlled, just via boost limit or is something else implemented?
I don't think V5 will ever happen for the 96940011.

V5 includes:
- 2 levels of knock cel flash
- some ICS mods
- map switching (timing/fuel/boost)
- no lift to shift
- valet mode
- rear o2 simulator

So, yes those mods will work as the new patch supercedes the previous. I just like the idea of alternate maps with meth, as I wont have the meth on full time & I can wire up the failsafe to default to the 91 octane maps if it trips.

Boost is perfectly stable in all weather conditions. The code is changed so I'ts now controlled by the ecu with psi based tables rather than engine load.

btw, did you see the seperate patch for the rear 02 sim?

Gates open @ 9:00am for racers, I was told it's $22 for the day (as many passes as you can) should go till 5:00pm. I don't think you have to be a member. spectators get in for $5.
