Who has Dynoflash in AZ?

Have any Arizona guys gotten a mail-in dynoflash? I am looking into doing it but need some feedback from local guys. I also plan to get an SAFC but want to start with the reflash!

I would do one or the other, SAFC or Dynoflash. Unless u plan on running race gas occasionally, then get the SAFC to tweak for race gas and get the Dynoflash for regular pump gas.

I was talking to a tech at TurboTrix, and he said that the tuner would fly out to Arizona and tune the cars for like $300 if we could find like 10 EVO VIII owners interested in it...I would say do all your bolt-ons first, then do a reflash...

I spoke to the guy from dynoflash and he only require 5 guys for him to fly out and do custom work. I plan to do the dyno flash because its cheap and below the radar from a dealership standpoint. People seem to have good things to say about it. If it works; great, if not, SAFC. I am just nervous about sending my ecu in the mail. I bought an SAFC more that three weeks ago and it is still lost in the mail...No money, no SAFC.

When do you plan on having him fly out? I am currently in the process of getting an APEX I induction kit, APEX I grounding kit, and B&B mid/test-pipes and cat-back exhaust...hopefully before August 28th...I would be down for a reflash after all that stuff gets done...we need to straighten this out and set some dates...I'm in if it is within the next 3-4 months...I am not in a hurry!

No date was set to have AL fly out here. I called to ask about his services and he stated that he would fly out if 5 people were interested. On a different note I have a B&B exhaust with test pipe and catback. I want to sell the test pipe if you are interested. I hate seeing that CEL on a new car! I may go with a high flow cat or go back to stock! The pipe makes a big difference so it would be painful going back to stock.

Which test pipe did you get?

Have you tried the Perrin or Buschur CEL fix yet?

I've got the Ultimate Racing Test pipe, but haven't installed it yet, I'm too lazy. It is guaranteed not to throw a CEL.

The last Dynoflash in LA, I told Al I'd like to set-up a session in Phx.
If you start a sign-up list and plan for 4-6 weeks from now, it will give guys a chance to get the mods they want on.
There are also gonna be the last minute guys.
I'm sure that 10 guys will sign up. The Tuscon guys can come up.
Maybe the dudes at Dynocomp or Vivid Racing will sponsor it and we could get some dyno tunes.
Anybody from Phx know a good place to road tune? Not alot of traffic, lots of outs or exits (for stopping and tuning)...and no cops. need to be able to do 3rd gear redline runs.
PM me the info and I'll set it up.

The exhaust was installed at Vivid Racing. I have a Monster sport down pipe. The down pipe is less than 3.0 inches. I wanted to keep some low end torque

Put me on the list if you get it started. There are some good back roads with little to no traffic on the west side...in the avenues (Tolleson, Goodyear area, close to PIR).

If you guys get an AZ Dynoflash session together near the end of the year or beginning of next year I would be interested in upgrading my mail-in flash. Cash flow is low right now, just bought a bunch of stuff for my house.

I have the UR test pipe, it is nice. So far I have about 200 miles on it with no CELs. Extending the o2 sensor wiring was a pain in the *** though, and I burned my hand with the soldering iron, Doh!

I have a 3" UR high flow cat that I might sell. I'm still debating if i want to keep the 3" cat or the 3" test pipe. I want to put a few more miles on the test pipe though before I decide.
