Thumbs up WORKS Camber Plates

Again WORKS comes up with a great product, fit and finish on the camber plates is absolutely the best. With the addition of the camber plates to the front we’ve been able to make our alignment settings same/same for both sides of the car. We’re currently running -2.25 camber and 4.0 caster on the front, both sides.

The car runs straight as an arrow and smooth as glass at high speed and the turn-in is much, much better. Less work on the steering wheel now, input is very minor compared to the stock set-up.

Highly recommended for anyone that races their Evo or for those that are just tired of not being able to get both sides to adjust the same. A must for R compound tires.

I presume that these are intended for ride-height adjustable susp pieces?

The WORKS Adjustable Camber Plates were designed for the stock strut assembly so enthusiasts can fine tune their stock suspension. They are included in our SSII suspension package along with our Ride Springs and Rear Swaybar.
You can find out more on www.worksevo.com under the WORKS Racing Program.

EM - Are the ride springs listed yet or am I just missing them?

BTW - These plates helped lowered our average lap times (via better alignment set-up) by about 1.25 seconds on the autox course. We are now only a couple seconds behind those running coilovers. Still running the stock KYBs and stock springs.

ooh - I might have to get me a set of these.

RT - what camber are you running in the rear?

Also - does the pillowball mount increase ride harshness in the front?

We're running -1.5 camber in the rear with 1/16th of an inch of toe out, we run 0 toe in the front. Yes the ride is a little harsh compared to stock, you really feel every little thing in the road. But on a good smooth surface its not bad at all.

Do they have positive camber adjustment for lowering springs? Also do they work with any aftermarket springs other than Works?

Johnny-

I can't say how much positive camber can be achieved because we have not tried other springs yet but they are set-up so you can go either way. As long as a spring will fit under the stock top spring plate these camber plates will work. The only thing you replace when you make the swap is the stock top hat.

The WORKS Camber Plates should function well with not only OEM springs and our Ride springs, but also other aftermarket springs. We do have one set of Ride spring in stock and the webstore should be updated soon to reflect this.

The Ride Springs will drop both front and rear 22mm (7/8"). Enough to lower the CG and give it a better stance, but not so much as to hamper suspension travel.

Thanks for getting the pic up for me Rick
