None. No rubbing at all. Bolts up wonderfully to the Works HFC. I switched from a Helix HFC to the Works HFC. The difference in quality, and fitment was unreal. I cannot say enough for the quality of the Works DP and HFC.

The first few heat cycles will help anneal the downpipe, which will stress relieve it. When parts are welded together, stress concentrations (tension in the material) form at the welds. Annealing will help relieve those stress concentrations and usually causes a little deforming or “settling” of the material.
