I would say your chart looks about right on 91 octane. Here is my works Chart with 94 octane. WORKS P2 and Bushur 3" turbo back with hf cat. I too have a dip in the tq and hp as the stock solenoid spikes a bit and then overcompensates before leveling off. This corresponds to my boost gauge too as it spikes to about 23 then drops to 16-17 then levels off around 20psi to redline.

the cams retainers springs and throttlebody were installed at works. The car was tuned afterwards with the mods installed.

Given his mods, he have everything and more of what WORKS stage 2 has, I would assume he would be making a bit more than that. Although, I do realize that it is not all WORKS products that he has, but I don't think they vary by that much. WORKS claims that their stage 2 @ 91 oct. is a minimum of 340hp. I would almost hope that one is getting around/greater than 280whp.

WORKS stage 2 does not include the HFC, the 20psi that he have set, and ti retainers/springs (not that this makes any power). But he is still only resulting in about a little over 270. Shouldn't the HFC and the 20psi be giving him a least another 5-8whp???

Lastly, I am in no way flaming WORKS products. I myself have and proud to have all WORKS products in my EVO.

[QUOTE=Kaane]Went to Harman Motive Today for a baseline. Was hoping for around 300WHP, but didn't even come close. According to works with my mods I should have 340hp, so around 300whp, so where is my missing 30WHP? I know the cat is robbing me some power, but 30whp?

Mods as follows.

Buschur Catback
Works 3inch downpipe
Hiflo Cat
works 269 cams
works throttlebody
titanium retainers + springs
works p2 flash 8K redline
HKS drop in filter
MR Blow of Valve

boost 20psi, 91 octane

I am not flaming works products either, They have been great, was just wondering if my car is just weak from the factory or maybe there is something I can do to fix it.

340bhp minus the 18% - 20% 4wd drivetrain loss = 272whp

With a test pipe you will gain another 10whp

That makes it 282whp

Sounds about right

Upgrade to:

1. Bigger Intercooler
2. 660cc Injectors
3. 255lph Walboro Pump
4. Lower and Upper Intercooler pipes

And you should be at 300whp on 91 pump gas

Nothing is wrong with the dyno it's just smoothing is turned off to 0 and it makes it jaggity. All tuners on EVOm turn smoothing up to 3 or even 5 to show off .

My car was on the same dyno and I made 360WHP and 370WTRQ

for example, look at this dyno smoothing is up to 5 . the other dyno at Harman was done at 0 smoothing. if this run @ Mach V was on smoothing 0 it would have been some crazy jaggity lines.

I still think that his car is not making the power that it should be making. You need custome tune my friend.

I think kaane has a boost leak somewhere since you're only boosting 20psi with your mods. I'm at ~23psi with just a catback and P2.

your dyno looks normal for your mods on a dynojet, I have cams and the tbody, I should make atleast another 15-20.

That is some excellent result with just those mods.
But like he said, he have cams and TB and still only have as much as you do.

Let's not overlook how much hp difference a test pipe can make over a high flow cat.

Interesting results. Nice to see someone dyno'ing their Works products. I'll probably be dyno'ing my car in the near future and will post the results. I too would be hoping to be at 300+ whp.
