For maximum effect, I would recommend you get it ALL coated though. That means the o2 housing, the stock heat shield, and the downpipe. I had all of mine done by HPC and they came out great.

My second mod was the Works Racing Downpipe. Despite being a true 3" it still perfectly matches the factory oem brackets for the stock cat, the only difference is the piping diameter. The installation is a perfect fit, I have done it/tested on my own MR a while back.

Works Racing might be priciers than anyone else but that is just the first impression, once you see how well their parts are made then it makes you think that their parts aren't as expensive as you thought.

These guys(Works Racing) have in my opinion one of the top notch customer service I have seen in this forum and in the performance car industry.

You wouldn't be disapointed.
