ok well I fixed the problem come to find out it was the idle screw needed to be screwed in. But the p2r doesn't seem to be working it wont hold at 6000rpms. Oh well I'll have to talk to works about that. Thanks again guys for all the help

I dought it's a bad flash. Do you have the 2-stage rev-limiter? Maybe your clutch pedal sensor is bad and therefore engaging the lower rev-limiter in gear.

yes its a 2 stage rev limiter. It's set at 6000RPM though not 4800RPM. Could it be anything else? Also it never did thid before the p2r. I had the p2 at first then got the p2r and now it does this.

Does it happen at 4800rpm in every gear or do the rpms vary?

It's gotta be something to do with the 2-stage rev-limiter. All I can really think of is to check out the clutch pedal sensor to see if the rod is moving freely in and out. If thats fine you should call Works and see what they think.

I put the stock air intake back in with the works air filter. I had everything tuned by works I have a custom P2R flash. So heres my problem when the car is in gear or in neuteral it will only go up to 4800RPM and then it hits either a rev limiter or a fuel cut I can't tell I personaly thought they were the same. I checked everything to make sure everything is hooked up and it looks good to me. Is there something that I could have missed? Could the flash be bad? I haven't adjusted the throtlebody at all yet either so it idles at around 1500RPM. Any help would be great thanks guys and have a merry christmas.

I posted this in 2 places because not everyone reads the works forums

is the MAF plugged in all the way?? is the TPS plugged in all the way?? what is the reading for the TPS at WOT?? is it calibrated correctly?? are the fuel injectors plugged in correctly?? how is the power otherwise?? does it pull to 4800rpms or just feel sluggish?? boost leak??
check everything one more time just to be sure....

ok I checked everything to be sure and its all pluged in and seems fine. The car is a total monster it really starts to suck you into the seat but when it hits 4800RPMs its hits the limiter. I called works on friday but nobody answerd. I'll probably have to wait till next week to talk to them if I'm lucky. Everything seems to be fine untill 4800rpms

yes the bov is in the right direction. It is the stock intake with the works filter. The bov is works bov. I can try changing it back to the stock one to see if thats the problem but I doubt it is.

Did this problem just arise out of nowhere or has it always happened since the custom tune? Have you tired reseting the ECU (unplug the battery for 15 min.) ?
