How far can you revv?

How far could you revv the engine with the cosworth mivec cams and the works vspring and ti retainers?

Anything past 7k on the stock turbo is worthless

you can rev as far as you rev limiter is set =).

how far do you want to rev with your current setup? we dont know, cause we dont have your current setup.

depends on your parts, and your tune, and your plans / goals, and a few other things. give more info and we may help!

u got 06 right?? have ur car to a dead stop put it in first gear. and rev it! two step will kick in at 5 thousand i love my two step

We usually bump the rev-limiter to 8,000 RPMs with the WORKS V-Springs and Ti-Retainers. You could go beyond that, but I would suggest building up the bottom end before doing so.

Basically all the bolt ons, too lazy to list all of them but im buying a 35r soon so thats why i want to know. I bumped up my rev limit to like 7800 and my stationary rev limit to 5600

Yea thats around the highest i went, just want to make sure before i float a valve. Thats what i got, the works valvetrain and cosi cams, what do you think the highest i can go on stock valves? Also is it not safe to go past 8k on stock bottom end? Thanks for all the help

haha thanks but im not no newbie. also thats on the 05s as well not just 06

launch control is SET AT 6100 RPM, and rev limit is set at 7,800.

AMS DBB 50 TRIM 21 PSI 92 Octane
car is stock motor (HKS264/272 cams)
3" Titanium TurboBack
AMS FMIC, LICP, STOCK UICP
EXEDY TWin being installed friday.
