<---P2 induced GRIN!!!
I’ve been visiting that area of the tach a bunch lately, but then I’ve been putting in a lot of seat time to practice with the car too. The Evo is pulling strong and steady all the way with none of the issues it had with the corporate tune.
Still need to add P2 though, really looking forward to being able to pull max boost all the way to the shift point. Our rev limit is currently set at 7850.

P.S. Maybe when Famosa opens up for early practice days down here next year we could talk David and the WORKS crew into coming down for a “Flash and Dash Day” at the drag strip!

We recently had the Works Brain and P2 reflash installed in our EVO with no other modifications performed....it is significantly quicker than before, seems to run more smoothly. In fact, the car now seems to be as quick as our stock STi.

Well, I had a WRX before, so I like to drive both cars. However, the EVO is more fun to drive because the handling is more precise, great for twisting roads and with the Works horsepower boost it is plenty fast enough to scare me. Both cars have an amazing amount of adhesion in cornering, I am still exploring the limits of each.
Hey Boomn’, how close are you to Mid-Ohio?

Hi Boomn29
Nothing in particular, it’s the best thing I could think of back there. Ovals and straight lines are going to be the most frequently encountered types of tracks in the U.S., its our heritage, its in our blood.
Same deal out here, five to six hour drives to either northern or southern California to find a road course, less than an hour to the nearest drag strip. Four dirt ovals (of various lengths) are even closer.
