This is to all of you browsing the WORKS forums. I just had to let you know that the P2 flash is the best performance upgrade I have done to my EVO thus far. Actually, other than the Exhale exhaust and HKS earthkit the P2 is all I have. And let me tell you its just what my EVO needed. Big thanks to Pete at WORKS for what was probably MANY, Many hours on the dyno getting this flash worked out. I believe the power output of my EVO is where it SHOULD have been from the factory. ??But since they could not do it...WORKS did it for them. If you did not know the slight rumble from the Exhale was not normal you would never know any work was done. Come on STi's i'm waitin! I have not dyno'd yet but I do have a pretty sensitive "***-dyno" and it says alot. First of all, most important to me was getting rid of the awful boost taper past 5500. GONE! Now, my car holds damn near 19 psi all the way to redline(i lose a little due to plastic stock DV). Did I mention the redline has been increased as well. I was told I could rev SAFELY to nearly 7800....but I have plently of power "short-shifting " at 7200. Other parts of the power band have improved as well. I personally feel a huge power increase in the 3500-5500 range. The boost comes on sooner and to me feels like it comes on harder. You hear that twin-scroll really spoolin' and I have a STOCK airbox & Filter. Also the sound of the Exhale is very subtle...you hear when you want to hear it. Not too quiet and not too loud. I also love the looks of it.. slashcut sideways, and it fits the profile of the bumper. It looks different than any other exhuast I have seen so far. OH yeah..the exhaust grows. Anyhow, a huge THANKS to the whole crew at WORKS. Keep up the good work and I cannot wait until the rest of the WORKS EVO parts are ready.

I LOVE MY CAR!!! I can't stop thinking about driving it. The spooling turbo, the rush of speed, its like a drug I love how the EVO just puts the power down.

I am addicted to AWHP.

 

Haha, you got what I got then. I can't wait to try her out on the road course next year. Spring time seems sooo far away.

Yeah thats what it sounds like...Do you also have the P2 jansolo?

 

If you want to know what the Exhale sounds like just take the stock axleback section off your car. Pretty close to what Exhale sounds like. Stock Evo is not loud without a muffler.

I am going to try to be down at 10am or so.

I am hoping to race some cops on the way there. If you see me passing by with a lot of cops chasing after me, don't forget to smile and wave!

We can meet up at ATP and then head off to Gruppe-S at around 11am and get some Cusco bars.

Between the P2, my boost guage and the Cusco bars, I have a lot of things to do for the Evo.

BTW, being without my Evo for a month and a half SUCKS ***.
