217-230 whp. As I recall, your friend's car was the highest stock baseline of the day. Gains were all in the high 20 to mid 30 whp range.

I think at the St Louis day, we were baselining a little lower - about 205-220. Different dyno, conditions, etc....

Our gains seemed about the same though: 20-30whp.
I netted 27whp myself.

If I recall, the guy that had the 230 HP baseline was also running a blend of 100 octane and 91 to create 93 octane.... that may have made some difference in his numbers. I did not have a baseline run, as I came to ATP with all three mods, exhale, aperture and P2, and my car dynoed at 242 WHP and 249 FT Pds of torque. More telling was where those gains were made. Sorry that I do not have a chart to post, it was left at ATP. I also appreciated the time and attention David and the works staff gave to me during the day, as my car appeared to be running a bit too lean at one point, and they tweaked my P2 maps to compensate while still retaining power. I'm happy with what equates to a probable 300 hp and 300+ Ft pounds of torque when calculating an approx. 22-25% driveline loss. There is so much conjecture about dyno numbers though, it's hard to tell. Bottom line, I'm happy with my car's performance. All in all a very good day, nice folks, good atmosphere. I felt it was a bit brash and disrespectful for Shiv to "crash" the Works dyno day however...but that is another story altogether.

Hagakure, No way was my friend running a blend of 100/91 octane. He runs it out here in So Cal but after 500 + miles to get to the event i doubt he had any high oct gas in the tank.He told me that prior to the event his last two tanks in So Cal were 91 oct. Both of us mix gas 100/91 when we can. Car responds better and in the manual 94 is recommended. David did give him a 93 reflash and according to him his car ran great with 91oct on the way home from SF. I have driven it on 95 oct and it is fast. The tq seems incredible and it pulls like crazy. 03 Cobra owner went for a cruise with my buddy and was impressed. Didn't know what an Evo was but after a quick ride with some hairy turns the guy told my friend that if he had test drove an Evo and the Cobra back to back he would of chose the Evo. The power of my friends Evo didn't disappoint is my point and Cobras are fast as hell as we all know. This guy had a smaller pulley and Diablo chip and his Cobra was badass. His other drag stang does mid 8s. Also my friend told me that a black Evo did Dyno mid 230s but was on a higher oct mix. Maybe that is the car you were refering to.

Well,

The guy I am referring to was a big guy with glasses, and he told me himself he was running a blend...if not, so be it. The cars are fast. I'm very happy with mine, although my numbers are a bit lower.

Thanks for being nice to my friend in your description of his aesthetic appearance. He was the big dork with glasses that was at the event but he drove 500+ miles on 91 Oct. He does mix at home but before event didn't have a chance to put any good gas in. Last 4 or 5 tanks were 91 oct. After the flash he only got mid 250s hp but the tq in low 260s really can be felt. It feels like his car has about 310 hp and 320 pnds of tq. Snaps your neck when needed and pulls hard till 7000 rpm. He plans to Dyno locally on DynoJet in area and see if 93 oct flash yielded significant gains over the 91 flash.By the way he is a dork so don't be shy!

Your friend was anything but a dork. We enjoyed meeting him in person. Pretty cool guy, actually.

I was running 230hp and 252tq, but for some reason i car was running so rich, that it was off the charts, thank god the p2 reflash fixed that!
