Sorry to see you go David - Thanks though

OT - Is Works doing installs in future anywhere/dynoday?

I prefer P2, but Shiv is doing X-flash Dallas soon, and sure if I can wait an undetermined time for P2 (don't want to install myself)

Good luck David.
It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Ok, so who owns WORKS and who is going to be on evoluitonm.net on a regular basis?

Cheers!

Had a nice talk with David on the phone yesterday afternoon, sounds like both of us have had some changes take our lives in a new direction for the new year. David is a really good person and his ability to give well educated, level headed answers on the various forum boards in the face of lies, innuendo and the mother of all screw-ups, assumption is truly commendable, his contributions will be sorely missed.

As for us and our Evo the events of recent weeks have underlined one very important thing for us and that’s the fact that we no longer wish to be associated with the idiotic immaturity that exists on these various forums. If I read one more uneducated post about the econo Dinoflash being better than the P2 I’m going to hurl!

Good luck David, we’ll be seeing you in the future.

Rick

Wow... hard to image what would be a better than a "ground floor" opportunity with a company that has moved so far so fast. Must be something great, best of luck Dave. Sorry you won't be around the boards I will miss your classy posts.

I just wanted to let all of you know how touched I was by these responses. I was honestly blushing reading some of these posts.

WORKS will do just fine in my absence. If anything, the Evo community will hopefully have a more direct connection to the engineers that design and build the WORKS products for even higher levels of technical insight. I have strongly encouraged them to spend as much time as possible on the boards, phones, meets and email to ensure that the paths of communication between WORKS and the Evo community stay open.

Thanks again for taking the time to write in. Reading all of this really made my day.

Warm regards,
DavidV

David,

Sounds like you are getting an excellent opportunity to embark on exciting new career adventures, and I want to wish you the best of luck in your new endeavors! Having spent a lot of time talking with you on the phone, and then meeting you personally in St.Louis, I know that you will excell in anything you set your mind to.

Although I am not on the boards that much anymore, I will always remember the crazy days of the P2 introduction, and the St.Louis dyno day efforts. Some good memories, and more than a little shared stress throughout the planning process eh???

Even though you may not have been a principle owner/investor in Works, the level of confidence and professionalism you imparted in your forum responses, and telephone conversations, established you as the embodiment of Works. I can only imagine that this probably resulted in a schizophrenic battle between job satisfaction and suicidal thoughts as you tried to balance business and emotion in dealing with the never-ending demands of the Evolutionm crowd.

There is no doubt that your personality added a great deal of value to the board, and you will be missed by many folks that have come to rely on you.

Stay in touch,

Your Evo-less friend

Jeff/N10S
