horsepower output question

Hello guys. I was wondering how much of a hp gain if I get my ecu flash(stage 1) with k&n drop-in filter and a RMR catback exhaust? The reason be is that I am getting to a point where I want more power(of course keep the reliability of the car).
thanks

A drop-in filter is pretty negligible. In order words, the 'butt dyno' probably won't really recognize the change.

Why not get the P2??? What octane??

K&N Drop In filter will hurt you some of the time, and help you other times. The overall gain will be almost 0. The catback will clean up you're exhaust nicely.

Get the P2 with exhaust mapping for either 91 or 93 octane and you'll probably be looking at something on the order of a 25whp (approx) gain.

DISCLAIMER: This is a guess. There are far too many factors to give any definitive numbers.

P2 - I'd guess a pretty solid low to mid 20's whp gain as well. Of course, every car is a bit different.

What I mean by solid is that it's a one-time flash and you can forget about it and enjoy it. You won't have to worry about the weather changing or ever needing to adjust anything. All the settings are safe and solid!

Not having a turbo timer does not mean your car won't last. You will just have to be discipline to wait a minute or 2 before shutting it down. IMO, although it is not that expensive, it is by no means necessary.

I can wait a minute, and save the $100 myself. To each his own.

What does a turbo timer have to do with anything in this topic? He is asking about increasing horsepower safely.

I don't have an exhaust yet but I dynoed my car this weekend with the P2 flash and AEM intake. I didn't dyno my car before the mods. but I made an average of 21hp over the other stock Evo's. I'm very happy with the P2!
