NorCalEvo.net meet @ WORKS Pics

Just thought I would post up some pics from our meet at WORKS on the 10th of this month (April). We had a total of 37 Evos make it to the meet, which is a pretty impressive turn out.

We had a drive before hand (up some of the local twisty roads), had a BBQ, a Gran Turismo 4 Prologue tournament and raffled off some WORKS and Buschur Racing products. All in all, probably one of the best meets we have had to date.

Playing Gran Turismo 4 Prologue.

Also, I can't tell, but does it have a wing on it?

If so, nice and subtle! Will that be available soon from WORKS?

Oh, that was some customers MR2 - a very slow car. I would stick with an Evo if I were you. AWD + track = good times.

Yep. That's the Evo MR2 with a large carbon fiber wing and trunk.

So do you think I can beat it with my Lancer ES?

I have an intake and LED exhaust tip.

I dunno. The MR2 has a ton of stickers on it. None of them with kanji, but still with that many stickers, it has to be at least 700whp.

But doesn't it come down to the driver? I asked around and I heard that guy can't drive. Someone at the meet told me he couldn't even get the car started and had to roll it into its spot.

I helped push that beast to it's spot. I'm looking to get some stickers so I can make more power on my Evo too. I figure couple of good stickers should give me about 25 more WHP.

I think that's just the gritty urban atmosphere.

I keep on comparing it to Grand Theft Auto 3, because that's what it feels like when you drive over there. Never know when some guy is going to come running at you at a stoplight and try to jack your car.
